Exactly.  And while I don't think Fresh should run off, perhaps a little melding with our culture instead of insisting everyone else meld with their expectations would be in order.  As for the joking/being silly thing.  One of the cruelest people I know once gleefully said to me "Hey you know you can say whatever you want to people and then just laugh and say that it's a joke and they can't call you on it!"

 

I think that tactic is BS - more BS than the honest stuff on this thread.

 

Perhaps we came down hard on Fresh but I think that went both ways.

Lol.....the #1588 is a tabletop incubator. Pipping is when the chick pokes the first little hole through the shell when they hatch. I have 15 on lockdown( the last three days before hatching when you stop turning the eggs.). They are due to hatch tomorrow, so this one is a little early:)

No 1 was too hard on me and I'm definitely not scared off the comments are very amusing ,but I don't think I have enough sarcasm in me or time to reply to them all.
I kinda knew some of the replies I would get from a post like that I just didn't think this many lol as for bs tactics I said MOSTLY being silly I will not use my sarcasm as an excuse to apologize, and I was definitely defintely not being cruel. Would I change my post from this morning?..... NO WAY! I got a lot of solid answers and some very entertaining ones.

On a completely different note I just watched a house wren chase a dragon fly! It was so neat! Almost like a dance! The dragon fly got away.    for the bird... he can go to the feeder though!

Well... I told my niece to take some pics and send them to my mail, so I could share the day's progress... Oh, I am good. I am, I am. At what... well I haven't a good clue. BUT, good at something. LOL

 

I still have to coat all the bottom boards..., but am not going to do that till I get the trim I want. THEN I will stain it before putting it in place, so no crap! ALSO, there is ventilation on the A-Frame. The roof overhangs quite a bit, like a foot, and then there is a half wall. In the winter, it will be covered with plastic... BUT, here is the almost finished product...

 

 

The roofing looks funny there, because at the last minute I decided to put the shingles all the way across the top... And the actual roof sits a bit higher than the run part. Also, the walk up and the inside half wall have been painted green. 

 

And the staining/painting in process on the big coop.

I did a lot of hoeing today. Hoed it up all day long. My 4 year old wanders over me at some point to say, "Mama, why on earth are you chunking up all over the place?" Lol, what? I explained to her what I was doing, something she has helped do the last few years, it totally is not foreign to her, and she replies, "THE WHOLE BED IS IN A PANIC!!" Yeah... I can tell she was listening to every word I said.
