These are for Juise (and any other person) who thinks that I am an evil, evil vile man...wink.png

While cleaning the duck brooder, I put this mesh over the sink so the bold little jumpers didn't do anything they might regret. I don't think they even noticed, they were busy splashing and bobbing for peas.

But wait, there's more...

He looks cute now, but can you see that evil little smirk on his face?

Grandma, your daughter is so pretty.

Stacy, how exciting to be hatching out your own chicks.

Final count, 5 blue and black orps, and 3 silkies - one each black, white and buff big_smile.png

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Geeze Raz. It's really hard to call you evil when you let ducks swim in your sink. I guess I need ducks next year and turkey and broilers. Ahhhh!

DH and I got the fence up! Ran out of poultry fence to go along the bottom so I need 100'. Grrr! Our pen ended up 65x50...that makes about 3200 sqft for the little chicks. They were so happy.

I never said I was evil. Juise did just the other day. Which also seconds what my Mom said when I was born. hide.gif

If my dear Mom knew I had ducks in my sink, she would be having a major fit.  gig.gif

Raz, I can understand you looking forward to the Uggos starting to lay however I would strongly suggest that you not plan on hatching any eggs from them.  Since they are a hybrid creature is might result in an even more bizarre genetic throwback.

When having problems with chickens stop and think, what would Harlan do?
I've dealt with many thorns in my life and the flower is always worth the effort.

Thank you. Of course I am the mom and so I think she is perfect.... but that is not rational either.    roll.png
