Well, I have been collecting quotes since sometime yesterday, and I still haven't gotten the chance to reply to them. Maybe I can later, and hopefully by then the quotes alone won't take up a whole page.
I spent some time yesterday chopping done cherry branches that needed to come back, and some of the young cherry trees there just aren't room for, and today I built an arbor with some of them. It is about 10 feet tall. I am going to put our new grape vines on it. When I finish the garden, anyway. I have almost finished distributing the woodchips, and... I really, really hate to say this, but... I think I need more.
Anyway, really bad picture, sorry, but here it is. It is far from perfect, but... for my absolute lack of any experience whatsoever, I will take it and be happy enough. I still need to stake the corners in, but I have had enough for today.

I love it!
CG - Here are a few pictures, wish they were better. She won't do anything but eat right now - going on hour number two, poor thing! Also the flash on the camera makes her glow.

Nova, I followed these directions here almost exactly. I didn't have the energy to get creative with it today, maybe next time. The directions are to the right of the image, there are 11 steps. It was very easy to do, with the exception of flipping it over a few times, and moving it. It was also tricky finding ways to hold everything in place while getting the top triangles attached. All of those "hard" parts would have been really easy if I had been able to get someone to lend a hand for a moment here and there.

Thank you Taprock! I will post the middle photo on my facebook and see if anyone is interested! She looks sweet!
Juise - Great job on that arbor. You must have three hands to have done that by yourself. Love the whimsical charm.
Taprock - Showed my DH the pic of your showgirl. He didn't even think it was a chicken until he saw a bit of it's feet. Guess beauty has it's disadvantages though if it can't even find it's food!

Morning All....where is everyone???? We really, really need to get the fence around the garden! Those dang chickens b-lined right for it the minute we let them out
. I came home from work last night & DH was on patrol. Now I know what I look like walking around with the broom or stick shooing them out of everything! lol
Taprock......your little one is so sweet. Hope you can find a nice home for her. I might know of a family that might consider taking her. They already have a few chickens. I'll wait to see what comes about the situation & if anyone else is interested first.
