Well, I am sure you gave that old biddy next door something to gawk at. HEHE! Did everyone make a fuss about the chickens leaving?

Glad you had a good time RaZ.

At the very least, wipe the poop off your feet before getting in the car.

I don't know if Crabby noticed at all. I don't care if she did or not.

I do know that I enjoyed the time spent with good people and I hope that they enjoyed being here. I was happy to be the centre point for folks to meet and get to know each other.

I think it is a prelude to CS 2012.

My husband has no idea how many I am getting... Trying to soften the blow.lol. I just have fallen in love with them all...and had to get a variety;)

If you are still interested I will have to ask my carpenter. Let me know what size you are wanting.

I also think I remember someone posting hat thy were downsizing and would have some waterers and such available... Downsizing an upsizing would make a good pair!
And how important do you think the heat lamps will be during a Michigan August?

I believe that was me and all the feeders and waterers have been spoken for. I don't see why you couldn't use the coop as brooders also.

About to eat dinner though, then go fishing. Cleaned another pasty butt. That's getting old.

I have read that using cold [drinking] water will contribute to this. Try using luke warm water and maybe adding a bit of Karo syrup in with the water.

Had a great time at Randys-

its always fun to meet new friends-

poor crabby Mom 2em All has now dropped the grandson off to his mama and sent two older kids out the door- and Im about to take the other two to another house...and I will be KID-FREE..

Randy is lots of fun, and Kayla feels he is the best person ever.

Great to be fed, thank you Ashley and Randy.

Nigellas and BYFM have the cutest kids ever ever..we will all have to do this again soon..beyond Chickenstock. Minus the Uggos. Or maybe with Uggos, part four....

Um, can Kayla be a character witness for me in my upcoming chicken trial?

Hillbilly Hen- I was thinking 24 inches wide rather than 18. The rest could all stay the same.

I am so excited. I have found some great info. I wish I had found this site sooner!
Married to my best friend & Mom to 4 kiddos, 1 dog, and 22 twelve weekers...high male ratio! Plus.... 7 black copper chicks, 4 black americauna chicks, a trio of 6 month old black orphingtons and a trio of LF Lite Brahmas... And one lone silkie looking for some comrades. I have turned off the incubator until spring. Living the dream and praising God for his power and grace.

HAAA!  :)

It was really nice to meet you, Mom2 - Your family is beautiful and your girls were so very sweet.  I'm sorry I couldn't stay - and also that I was so out of sorts.  I was crazy hot and worried about getting back o my mom's in time.  I don't function well in heat.  I really am so glad you brought Mangy Squirrel for me - She's so funky cute.  lol.  And Raz - Good to see you again too!  Thanks for showing Jude your skunk - he was so excited to see him.  I love your yard.  :)

Has anyone broken the news to SillyChicken about her extra Uggos?  lol...  Here they are, Silly...  (There are actually 8, I think you can only see 7 here.)
