All right... I swear, if its not one thing, its another. I just went to get milk from the gas station 1/2 mile away... ran something over, and now I have a dang hole in my tread. Fix a flat did not work. I put it in, and filled it with air, then hauled booty home... Made it home... air is still coming out... SO, gonna have to plug it. If I can't plug it... going to have to buy a new dang tire. If I have to buy a new tire... I will not be meeting no one saturday. NOT COOL! And where is my spare? Oh... in a shed locked up... Where John got evicted from. GREAT!!!!!!

At the very least, wipe the poop off your feet before getting in the car.

I've raised Amazon parrots, Cockatoos, cockatiels and budgies.  The bigger birds liked to share the shower with me or my GF. The smaller birds loved a spray from a squirt bottle.  Dust was hardly an issue.

On the other hand, the chickens I have are the dustiest things I have ever seen.  big_smile.png

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the "they" in that sentence was in reference to the chickens.  I wouldn't want a house bird because of how dusty they (the chickens) are, because I'd just "know" in my head that the house birds were putting bird dust, to some extent, into the air.

Hi all,

I don't post much but I thought I'd pop in and say hello.  I'm getting pretty excited about Chickenstock. We were all just talking at dinner tonight about how much fun we had last year.  We got our cayuga ducklings and we even won a pullet from the raffle(we named her Delta Mills).

Weather prediction for Saturday sounds great-mostly sunny with high of 82 and 0% chance of rain.

See you all soon!

I see.  I agree with the house chicken thing. I raised my chicks indoors and they were terribly dusty as they got older. Even with daily cleaning of the brooder, I could hardly wait to get them outside.

With my Amazon parrot, he would go to the same spot to poo. Then  when he was  done, he would say "did ya wipe?". I miss my birds but I sure don't miss the messes they made.

Oddly enough, as I type this, I have a baby skunk helping me type.
