I met with the producer yesterday and she liked that he was tamed and trained and used to having people around him. They left yesterday to go back to Sundance for more training and film production. I get to go out and see the set in a few weeks.  How cool is that? cool.png

I did ask if they wanted to do a chicken movie, but she looked at me like I was crazy. She did say that if I got a raccoon to give her a call.

Whoda thunk this orphanarium would pay off?

YAY!!!! Sebastian is a movie star!!!! I knew he was special and so did whoever found him! Glad he found you!

Then my daughter says, ' I love how chicken people just assume that everyone will be excited about chickens!'   Hey, I think an Uggo movie is a GREAT idea!

Wait! They're not?? Are you sure?

I must have some

If Mom2 doesn't have some for you next year I will! I hope!

What do you think a showgirl/ barred rock mix will look like?

How about showgirl/EE mix??

Does anyone on here collect clocks or trinkets "Made in Occupied Japan"?

I have a blue clock.

The ordinance officer was just here again.

Today's complaints were;

1) Tall flowers out front that need to be cut down;

2) Garage needs to be power-washed and painted or sided;

3) Firewood needs to be 18 inches off the ground;

4) Porch needs to be rebuilt because it is missing several bricks.  Bricks that the neighbors took and did not pay for. Bricks that caused me to file a law suit against them for theft.

Then the other neighbor came out to itch and got upset because I pointed out the violations in his yard.

Funny thing is that nothing was mentioned about chickens.

It's going to be a long hot summer here folks.  Stay tuned to  the comedy antics here in Garden City.

"Garden" "City", is that an oxymoron?

The upside is that I didn't get another ticket, but I have until next Friday to comply or face the consequences.

Power-washing might be a problem since there is a water ban in effect for the entire city.  How does one wash a garage and not use water?  Am I being obtuse here?  th.gif

Raz... I think they are upset because you are fighting for your rights and "They" believe no one should have any.

Your flowers were beautiful when I was out there... Not sure about the rest but I did not notice the bricks or the garage.

Yes, raise your firewood so something can move in underneath it.

Well, I want ones without neck feathers, the rest is anything goes.

Oh, and someone saw my post and has a hubby who can bring them from MI to this coast - how cool is that!

Come to think about it - that might not be a bad little sideline. There are a lot of breeders out your side, that have birds we don't and vice-versa . . . Hmmm!

If you can find me a job out there, I'll leave tomorrow.

I'll give you my Uggo hens and whatever change I have in my pocket.
