Yup, that's what I do. I know the 16 year old is quite a challenge and sometimes I get aggravated with him, but you have to stop and think. He doesn't do things wrong on purpose. He really does try. And if anybody has ever dealt with Autism they know exactly what I'm talking about. It's difficult but doable. Oh well, it will all work out for the best, I'm sure.

Yup, that's what I do. I know the 16 year old is quite a challenge and sometimes I get aggravated with him, but you have to stop and think. He doesn't do things wrong on purpose. He really does try. And if anybody has ever dealt with Autism they know exactly what I'm talking about. It's difficult but doable. Oh well, it will all work out for the best, I'm sure.
I know children with disabilities are difficult and the older they get the harder they can get...like my 21 year old. But there's no excuse for any kind of abuse whether they have a disability or not! I'm sorry your family is going through this!

Yup, I agree 100% . NEVER any excuse to abuse a child or someone older. We will get through this it just makes it more difficult on me because my son IS a momma's boy and he always calls me. But, I love my son and my grandchildren and life goes on. I help them in any way I can and try to keep things positive. ![]()
