Spent the afternoon doing the pre-Back-to-School shoveling out of the dungeons... I mean kids' rooms. Now I have to go clean the hall from the mess I made cleaning the kids's rooms. Why is that always the case? Our kids don't even have that much stuff, but I still end up with three trash bags full of stuff for GoodWill and the dumpster.
Mine are old enough that I can force...I mean, um, coerce, them into doing that themselves....however, my fourteen year old carried out three bags of clothes for the goodwill- I went through them out of curiosity and pulled out three pairs of my shorts, two of my shirts, about five nice shirts of hers that she got for her birthday in March barely worn, and two that still had tags on them, and three perfectly good hoodies that she will want come cool weather. Much easier to toss clothes in a bag than to wash/dry/hang them up.
