Thanks Sphynx! Feel better, and don't go outside and tip your head up! You would end up making a snow angel for sure with that vertigo sickbyc.gif

Aunt Hattie, it really is beautiful in Idaho. I love to drive through and dream of owning a big ranch droolin.gif

Hattie, my guess as to why your Polish is struggling are these, from strongest to least: She is cold, she's not feeling well and could use some vitamins in her water, or maybe she's eggbound..............I only say that last one because when Lisa had an eggbound hen, I thought of it and didn't say anything for a day, then could have kicked myself because maybe it would have helped had I said something sooner.

Cyndiloo, love the pictures! I've never seen Idaho in any season except for late summer/early fall, so when I think Idaho, I think dead, dry brown mountains. It's nice to see a different side to it smile.png And I totally do not mean any offense toward Idaho, mind you. I just haven't seen much of it. And, cute chickies! love.gif It's so fun to meet the different members on here.

Lisa, pneumonia? Don't make me come tie you down to that couch and force feed you some soup! Sphynx, the same goes for you. You two stay down and get better soon. Sphynx, I get mild dizziness a lot of the time. I can't imagine what fun stuff you're dealing with. Heal up soon, my friend.

Sundance, love your little fluffbutts! And Madchicken's picture of mama and the two "babies" is cute. I'm pretty sure I won't get to have any chicks this year, unless they're Icelandics. No room in the flock for anything else right now hmm.png

Cynthia, I wish we would get some fog here. All we have is the inversion...........I walked outside the other day and thought, "Ugh, the sky is white."

My cockerel is doing okay. I'm still thinking it was the jake that got him, because I found blood on his feathers the next morning. It's about time to send the two white turkeys to freezer camp, I guess.

Hattie, it sounds to me like your polish is sick. I'm not good with how to take care of sick chickens. I hope she recovers.

Red, how is your little cockerel doing? I'm sorry if it does turn out to be that turkey, I know you've really had fun with them.

She did it! The little hen in the brooder that was doing the egg squat layed an egg. And i got another surprise when i got home. Someone was working overtime.

The one on the right is the Silkie's that's in the brooder the one on the left is a extra large. I get so excited when i get these giant eggs. Of coarse everyone argues who gets to eat it. Because we all know it will have at least 2 yolks. ( i got three one time in a giant)

.Here is a picture with a extra large/jumbo EE. These are my hands so you can see the comparison and I'm not a small man.
