Hi JC,  we got all our chicks from IFA off 201 and 9th West.  They have a good variety and are getting more each week. We live in Magna too so if you would like to swap notes, let us know.  Did you get your coop made?

As promised, I snapped a few pics of some of my BLRW's today--dang it is hard to get a decent picture of them--especially the Roos! I thought these ones were half-decent, though you can't see the lacing on the Roos very well. I didn't get pics of all of them, as I got a little tired of trying to follow them around. :) Sorry its a little heavy on the pics thing!

There are currently a total of 7 hens and four Roos, though two of the Roos are kin dof heading for freezer camp and two of the hens are not as well-laced as I would like, so I will probably pull them out and just keep them with the "eating eggs" hens, as opposed to the hatching eggs hens.

I got 13 hatching eggs today and I'm sticking them in the Sportsman for my first full test hatch run. I think I'm going to be a little overrun with chicks in a couple of weeks, if anyone want to come pick some out after they hatch!

Pretty!

Happy Owner of 6 modern day T-Rex's, and 2 Russian Tortoises! There are more chickens on earth than humans & Alektorophobia is the fear of chickens. Random Fact-- One penny doubled everyday would be over 5 million in 30 days.

Hi gamebirdsonly!  I've bought eggs from you.  smile.png   It was about a year and a half ago.

Aren't you on the border of Idaho?
