Those eggs are beautiful, Lisa!!!!! My BCM laid huge eggs like that, and I never did see a double yolker. I bet they are just typical. here's an example of her eggs (it's next to a grocery store "large" egg for comparison):
Donna, love your chicks. I can't wait to see how those Cream Legbars and Isbars turn out.
Lisa, how are your near death experience eggs going? I'm really crossing my fingers that they hatch.
I'm jealous of all your meetups down there in West Valley.

Happy Owner of 6 modern day T-Rex's, and 2 Russian Tortoises! There are more chickens on earth than humans & Alektorophobia is the fear of chickens. Random Fact-- One penny doubled everyday would be over 5 million in 30 days.

My near death eggs ( love that! haha) Well there were two sets that got cold....7 are due 4/7 and 4 are due 4/11. They all came unplugged that night....the first 7 are in lockdown, cannot see inside of them anymore. None are wet or oozing, I am just crossing my fingers. Did not see lots of movement in those after they got cold. The second set due 4/10 .....they all look really good still believe it or not! I could see movement 2 days ago. They are getting awfully full and dark too. Maybe due to the stage in development the first ones were too far along to withstand cooling down like that but for some reason the others were a little less vulnerable. It would be so great if I could get even 1 from the first batch....crossing fingers
You guys will hear from me within seconds if I see pips for sure! I cannot quit staring at them. I could have sworn one looked like it was moving this afternoon. I think it was wishful thinking though

Whoaaa, Lisa, when I first saw your egg picture with the coin, I thought it was a dime. Then I took a closer look and realized it was a quarter. Ouch indeed! Them hens must be named Helga!
I hope your nearly-deads make it okay to hatch. I would really love to shamelessly get a chick from you
And I'll do my darnedest not to kill it..............
Hey Sphinx, you should totally come down if we do a tour day in Magna and WV.
