Very disappointing things happened just about an hr. before he was to be picked up.  No Pants!  They didn't put pants in with his Tux!  Dad had to hurry and go clear to Orem to get the pants.  The thing that messed them up was, there was a stain on the vest that he first tried on. The guy took it back to get a new one, brought it back without the pants!  Maybe our son learned something here..check things like that out when he gets home.  But, DH and son had checked it out before they had the vest changed..they saw the pants..but the guy took the whole bag back there with him.  Anyway, I'm upset I didn't get to see the girl. He went to pick her up, called, said he would come back after they ate.  Well, the Prom is up at Sundance, didn't see him after dinner, I'm sure they were wanting to get up there, that's quite a drive.  I'm wondering if they will drop him and his date off here so we can see her.  Dad went to lay down and wait.  I am glad I got pictures of him at least before he went.

And we got a new dog today.  :))  A Dachshund.

Ha ha!  Just for fun, found my Prom picture that my mom took with our trusty little Polaroid.  This was my football hero in high school.  Good kid.

Phoenix, your coops look great! Nice job!

Cynthia, love those new chickies. I especially love the picture of the one blue that's a pudge muffin. Way to go! Your black Amer. looks like a girl to me, if I had to guess. I think my gray EE has kind of a wide snout like that. I'll try and get a picture of her for you to compare. Love that little happy, smug look on her face in the second picture, hehehe. Your girl is very pretty! How old is she?

Game warden of the crazy preserve. Inmates include: EE's, RIR, BSL, BO, SLW, Welsummer, Exchequer Leghorn, blue/black Wyandottes, BR's, Ameraucana's, and Icelandics <3 Plus an adopted brown turkey who is broody and must be part cobra, part goose :P

I have icelandics in the incubator that are 1/2 cooked... hopefully I'll have a good hatch rate and have some for sale at the Chickenstock.  might have some heritage turkey poults as well..  Could have a pure black nubian buckling if anyone is interested.. otherwise, I'll leave him out to the barn.. If you're talking about the young Black Ameraucana outside, she is around a month old, would have to look.  I really thought it looked like a girl with the feathering in the beginning.

See you Tues?   I'm excited to meet you!  Oh, I took pics earlier of my mixes, and my Exchequers..just didn't get them on.  035.JPG

The ones with the dark spots on the heads are the EE's.  Then there are a couple of reds, and a couple of buffs.  One buff for sure, is feathering out, has quite the tail already.  On the right also..one of the EE's looks good to be a girl.  See the wings and the tail? Some of the others don't have tails yet.033.JPG

My Exchequers' and my Silkie.  It's going to be funny seeing a Silkie running in a flock of Exchequers.  :)  Of course I won't be keeping all of the Exchequers. 034.JPG

They are hiding in the corner..they think, from me.
