Yard monkeys. haha !

Lisa, that's perfect. smile.png I will be working nights the whole weekend, but I'll be checking my texts as soon as I get up (usually around 2 PM). Got a guy coming on Saturday for some of the BLRW's--he wants some of the Blacks, which I seem to have in profusion in this bunch.

Okay, I did my stinkin' workout. Feels like someone pulled all the muscles out of my body, stomped on them, then shoved them back in with no particular consideration for the proper order. Rude. Now I just have to go work a nice 12 hour shift. I'm House Supervisor tonight, so I get to wobble around the entire hospital all night on my muscle-damaged legs. Doesn't that sounds like fun??

LOL  corvide..not, it does not sound like fun, but, if I were there, it would be fun to say something about how you look when you wobble..I am a stinker.  hide.gif

I have sore legs too, but I got them in a different way.  I planted a lot of flowers and veggies today.  My legs aren't used to bending that much.  Good for them?..I think so, it's been a while to remember if that much stretching is good for you.  :p

I will text you when we are half hour away to give you heads up.

Yes please, Cindy, save all the eggs you pick up and I'll take them and see if I can get some to hatch.  big_smile.png  I'm so excited I'll not only get to meet new chicken friends on Saturday, but new goat friends, too!  ya.gif

Thanks for the pictures, Cindy.  There's some Wyandotte colors I haven't seen before, and I love that partridge hen.  The Cochin roo is handsome!

Blu, your birds are beautiful! I love the variety you have. What's that white hen in the first picture? The one with the buff and black lacing. She is stunning.

the Icelandics are fun.. you'll get hooked!!  If you breed them you must keep them pure though...  They are endangered and you wouldn't want to introduce any outside genes... did you know that their genetic makeup is significantly different from all your other chickens.. can't remember the exact % but seems like it was 68% different..

No kidding? I recently found out that KathyinMO is working on re-creating the Delaware breed, and I've toyed with the idea of (eventually) approaching her to see if she'd sell any chicks. Yes, keeping the bloodlines pure and healthy is the main reason I've considered getting three, rather than two. If I lucked out and got two girls and a boy, I think that would be preferable for selling chicks/eggs. If I can scrounge up the money, that might be what I do. I'll be sure to let Lisa know before saturday.

Okay, who was it that was going to get a harlequin duck for their daughter? Those are so cool looking.
