I'm totally cracking up over all the brilliant math figures!

Sasha---

You would have an EE
tan egger + blue egger = green egger, light
dark brown (marans or welsummer) egger + blue egger = olive egger
olive egger (F1) + dark brown again = really dark olive egger (F2)

Usually. Or they sometimes tease ya and lay the same as just one of the parents smile.png

Sundance, Yay!!!!!! I am so excited for you!!!!

Sasha, I ended up rehoming him on KSL last night. The guy seemed really awesome, and I'm a little surprised he's not on here. He has a lot of chickens, but is thinking about getting into the lavender ameraucana business. He's keeping him, not eating him (yay!), and even told me to keep his number in case I wanted to borrow him back for my lavender girls.

Lisa, sorry about the weeping egg. Have you candled everything else yet?

Those are so cute! What a fun hatch!! Love the second super fluffy sizzle especially. And those cute little Araucanas, little puffy cheeks! They look double tufted even! Are they rumpless can you tell?

Sorry Joybells I'm in St. George. sad.png

Sundance those chicks are so cute!

Lisa sorry about the weeping egg.sickbyc.gif I hope the others will be ok.

I put mine into lockdown tonight! Candled them last night and all 9 are looking good to go.

So I decided it isn't the carpet my chickens don't like it is the heat in the coop. (there is a fan) They have been laying in the dirt under the nesting boxes behind some bushes where it is cool. I don't blame them but it stains my eggs brown. barnie.gifI'm thinking of putting pine shavings there. Don't know really what to do. I guess I will have to start washing my eggs.

My little flock consists of a bantam WC cuckoo Polish, 3 little Silkies( black, white and partridge), a bantam buff Cochin and a bantam mottled Cochin.
