I got a nice egg from LaVerne this morning. Cute speckles on a nice dark olive egg. Hope the trend continues. They are getting really nice sized for a month or so of laying! Wish some more would start, should be anyday now on my BA, and my BSL is looking red too =)

Sorry, I post this way to everyone.  I'm doing it the easy way, replying by posting individually.

having worked for public schools i saw so much waste its sad, like we got a push parking lot sweeper one year for $800, less than a year later i got it off surplus for $5 and traded it to a friend for a lot of stuff i needed. but yeah you can get tons of stuff on there for cheap. mainly the people that know about the site are those that work for the schools or citys etc. there are tons of stuff all the time that would be perfect for a coop. plus you can use the stuff for other things, like they often sell those kitchen-aid stand mixers used for $10 or so. you can often find paint and that kind of stuff smile.png

Alright, I'm honestly not going for sympathy here. It's just that words fail me right now.

Found out the kid has a record. Put at least 7k new miles on it over the weekend. He added lots of fun stuff, like that sticker on the front window, neon lights around the rear plates, items of personal habit all over the inside. And a bunch of the panels have been ripped off, inside and out. I just can't even believe the damage on this thing. The guy at the shop estimated about 10k in body repair, just on the one side. And remember, the engine is smoking. When he started it up, it sounded rougher than when we had it.

So, something tells me we aren't getting this truck back sad.png Your professional opinions, please? If it were your truck, would you want it fixed? Or would you hope for a replacement, instead?
