I got to visit Sundance today and see most of her babies. Saw all the feathered babies, and some of the feline, and both of the dogs. She has such amazing animals! My lavender is having a slumber party there for a couple days. Hopefully she'll work her miracles on this bird as well. I got to see her fair entries you guys, and they are so, so gorgeous.  Sundance, do you know if entrance to the fair is free? When I looked at tickets, I couldn't see entrance tickets, so I'm assuming so.  My closing got put off *AGAIN*, so it should happen tomorrow afternoon. I want to try and sneak down to the fair and see the birds. And the cows.

Lisa, I was going to ask what birdman got, too But then I pooped out on it. Brad, didja get something for gardening? I've never stopped to look at the guns they have there. I'm broke anyway, and I've already got more guns than I ever intended to own in my life (3) It's the knives that draw me in. Those Damascus steel blades are so pretty. They're the ones that look like wood grain, if you've seen them.

 

Yes, the white EE is very sweet and mild, though she can be a bit of a spaz when you catch her. She's mellowed since she was a baby, which is really nice. I love her shape and color and temperament. I'm so glad I got her.

 

Goodness, what am I still doing up? I've been dreaming about bed time all day! Time for me to go night-night.

No worries here, Red!  A country girl should always carry a knife, IMO!  Growing up trail riding with thousands of acres at my disposal, I always carried a pocket knife.  Still to this day, I do.  I keep a 3.5" blade in my car, and sometimes it ends up in my purse....I got kicked out of social security last week where they check you at the door and x-ray  your bags.  Oops.  

(I just had to take it out to the car and leave it.) 

thanks everyone. its my first gun so i am super excited about it, they did not have it but were able to order it. its a mossberg tactical .22 with a red dot scope and 25 rd mag, it has a ar 15 look to it with the rails that give you loads of options for add ons. very good value for the money too. i am into knifes too, i always have at least one on me lol. my favorite is my gerber lmf ll knife. oh and i am a big time collector of zippo lighters, always have one on me, i have some i use and others i would never dare to use because they are worth so much.

Gun?  rifle or pistol.  I have 2 guns that I use with my concealed carry permit.  Both are pink.  My hubby says that burgkers will die laughing when I pull my pink gun on them before I have a chance to shoot them

Your baby is still alive this morning,  Does not appear to have made any improvement over night.  I gave her some 50% dextrose water last night.  Will repeat this am and also give her a pain shot.

Fun toy Brad! And who knew you packed heat too Sundance haha, and pink heat at that I have thought about it, I used to belong to the gun club and we would go shoot skeet and targets all the time, that has been awhile....we just keep one here at the house for intruders, then the few my husband likes to collect. We both keep wanting to sign up for the concealed carry class but it never works with our schedule, my DH has been asking me to check the next class time again. I kind of miss the club, lots of nice people there. Just no time for that with the kiddos crazy schedule! I also am a bitty bit scared of carrying a handgun around. I think I might leave that to my DH, even if I get the permit with him. I more like the shotguns for recreation, I am not a hunter at all. Fishing yes, hunting, not so much.

I got 10 eggs yesterday from 9 that are now laying, so somebody else has started....and every single girl did it yesterday wow! I wonder if this heat today will throw everybody off now. I was pretty excited the new ones all synched up and did one on the same day, some of those are not laying very regular yet. My Zoey curly toes has given me 2 double yolkers now, they are looooong and skinny, not really voluminous because they are so thin. Just over an inch around and about 3 inches long. They are looking more blue again. The lav's are still quite green. Sphinx I sure hope your lav pulls through, I want to see one of these little girls lay blue!
