These are great for starting out. They come with all the tools, thermometers, instructions and  are a great way to start out.

kidasoto, Blujems makes cheese from her goats' milk smile.png Might hit her up. (Woops, she beat me to it)

And speaking of which, Blu, do you ever sell the cheese you make?

Hector! I'm glad your girl is okay. I try to let my chickens out during the afternoon so that they can get to shade and dirt, but sometimes I'm at work and they have to wait. It makes me worry.

So the interview went alright, but we'll see if I get the job. I did my best and they said they'd call, and I was in there for almost half an hour. So I guess it could go either way.

Finally got a new truck, too. I'm still kind of in shock.

Red congrats on new truck,

Blu jeans   I ordered the cheese making kit.  Now I have to go find a goat dairy

Sphinx I think the chicken is doing a bit better   I saw her move that leg a tiny bit She is still weak and lays on her side.  I took her out of the tub and put her in a cage on dirt so she can get traction if she wants to try and stand up on her own. She was on grass but with rain threatening I put her under Gazebo.   She is also eating and drinking on her own a bit.  .

Was at the Washington County Fair tonight to see Whittni and her chickens. She did awesome! I'm going to let her post more pictures if she wants too but I had to at least post one of her talking to the judges and answering questions about her chickens.

Good job Whittni!! highfive.gif It was fun to see you again. I wish we could have stayed to talk with you later but we needed to go.

I haven't taken time to catch up on all the posts so I will do that now. I'm hoping Sundance did well at the fair and that Sphinx's lavender is doing better. Oh and that Red got the job at Cal Ranch!

Cynthia love the new Polish you are getting!! I have never seen those before. So pretty.

My little flock consists of a bantam WC cuckoo Polish, 3 little Silkies( black, white and partridge), a bantam buff Cochin and a bantam mottled Cochin.

Woohoooo! Way to go, Whittni! Hope you had fun. Aunt Hattie is lucky she got to come see you. I wanted to see Sundancen's birds, too.

Aaarrrrrgh! Attack of the dixlesic fingres!! dkjjkdfkdd he.gif

Birdman, I knew the smoke was bad, but it really started to bother me when I walked outside and could smell campfire everywhere. And today, I've noticed ash sprinkling down on stuff. Oh my goodness, I hope they can get those put out soon! I've got some family down in Eagle Mountain that have been evacuated. Scary stuff.

Aww. No homemade cheese for me, then. I don't know if I should try making my own cheese or not. I think it would just be empowering the addiction......

Chickendad, Chickenmom, how are you guys doing? Hoping Chickendad's back is improving - back troubles really are awful.

Chickenundercover, you still around? And what happened to all of the wonderful newcomers we had? Come on, we're not that scary, are we??

Is it me? Do I smell bad? *checks expiration date on deodorant*
