check my site out!

The prices do seem pretty high to me but I don't know. I bought my Dominique roo from a guy for $8. Chicks from hatcheries are only like $2 each.

These I posted a link to a hatchery that carries these breeds. They wouldn't be high for show quality birds, but the breeding roosters shown don't seem to be, of course it could be the picture, but they appear to be industrial quality.

When you add the price of shipping $20.00 on up - that becomes a very expensive bird.
I would order 25 chicks from a hatchery, pick my favorites and then donate (we have a sheriff's boys ranch here that appreciate chickens , the kids care for them) or give away the ones I didn't want. Thats what I did with my Welsumers.

I like it...you've got good suggestions, and off topic though I used to breed Shih Tzu's my last one died last year, I miss him a lot.

off topic....our shih-tzu is so lazy, but i guess they all are. and on topic, i updated the prices, i dont think i purposely put those prices, or i was drugged lol. I know i wouldnt pay that much for them. and when i get my serama up and going, they are really expensive, so i will try to keep my prices lower than most, but start looking on the web now, so you wont be surprised.
