The ULTIMATE list of DUCK Treats and Supplements...

Pics
Any food other than the ducklings starter feed they will need grit [chick grit is best when tiny.]
If it's safe to feed to chickens then it's okay for ducklings you just want to make sure to not over do since their feed is where they will be getting most of their nutrients.

I put spirulina powder in my juice everyday, it does wonders for me. I was thinking of sprinkling it on my duck's food cos I want them to live forever lol. It sort of tastes like fish so they'll like the taste I think. Would this do them as much good as it does me do you think? I believe it's a type of pond algae?
I have been wondering the same thing so I'll check back to your post , I have been trying everything with my duck she hasn't walked since I got her from the guy up the street he left her here thinking he was killing her shes not able to walk now due to chicken food (niacin deficiency) she's absolutely amazing.

This is GREAT info!!!

Based on what I've read in this thread, it seems like the top 20 duck treats are probably:
  1. Peas
  2. Bok Choy
  3. Floating Koi Food
  4. Cat fish Food
  5. Tomatoes
  6. Grapes (Red or green, halved)
  7. Corn
  8. Lettuces (Romaine, Bib, Butter, Radicchio, etc.)
  9. Worms/night crawlers/mealworms
  10. Feeder goldfish/minnows/guppies
  11. Eggs (Scrambled and diced up for ducklings)
  12. Dry cat food/dog food
  13. Melons (Cantaloupe, watermelon, honey dew, etc.)
  14. Apples/Applesauce
  15. Bananas (mashed for ducklings)
  16. Strawberries (Cut into small pieces)
  17. Cabbage (Green, red, or Brussel sprouts)
  18. Patty Pan Squash
  19. Squash (Butternut, Yellow, etc.)
  20. Kale
Does that sound about right? Are there some that shouldn't be on that list, or others that I missed that are "better" treats for ducks? Like:
  • Zucchini
  • Bell peppers (Red, Yellow, Orange, Green)
  • Rice (Cooked, preferably soft)
  • Spaghetti (Cooked plain)
  • Plain Crackers
  • Cereals (Cheerios, flakes, puffed rice, etc.)
