Pictures from today.

Battle of the leaves is what we call it here at our house. We blow them to the edge of the woods, just to have more replace them by the end of the day. We were just discussing that the leaves are late defoliating here. The strong winds knocked most off the past few days, but the Pin Oaks have some still hanging on as usually.

I love the pics. Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad that Blind Tiny is doing so well. She is beautiful and looks so healthy. The whole flock is beautiful. That's great that your flock is still being very productive.

Hey, what is the small dog house looking building in your run?

The dog house was in there when the "run" was the dog pen. It's a 40'x50' pen. They do have a chicken house, you can see it on the right side of the 3rd picture and then tiny has her own house and run.

They like the dog house. They stand on it, go in for shade in the summer and some use it for shelter in the rain. It's to big to carry out of the pen so we left it. We'd have to chop it up to get it out of there.

Oh no, I've seen your wonderful run set up. Sorry if you took the question the wrong way. I think it's great and spacious. I wish my run was that big. Mine is 20' x 14' for a flock of 16. I knew you had a great coop. I was just wondering about the dog house. I'm always looking for stuff to put in my run to entertain my flock. I was just wondering if your flock took advantage of it being in there and used it for shelter occassionally. It was probably a blessing that it was to big and heavy to remove since they utilize it.

No, don't think I took it the wrong way I didn't. I was just explaining that they do have a real house just in case you've never seen it. Lt. Colonel Bok Bok lived in that dog house for a while when I first got him.

He's much happier in the house with his ladies now.

Yeah I have 23 pullets and I get anywhere from 14-20 eggs a day. To bad no one wants to buy any. I live in the south/country though so everyone has their own chickens.

Your flock is SOOOO pretty, especially with all the colors in there. I don't get 14-20 eggs a day but I do have over 6doz in my fridge right now.
