101 reasons we love ducks

Add what you love about your ducks to the list!

1. duck faces are the cutest faces of any bird
2. their waddle
3. the way they cock their heads to look at objects in the sky
4. their ability to plop themselves in the smallest container of water
5. the way they scour the yard for goodies during a good rain

Firm believer that getting their hands dirty helps keep kids' minds clean.

6.  The way they drill tunnels in mud.
7.  The way they love their routine.
8.  You're their best friend when you have treats.
9.  A frog sound scares the crud out of them.
10. The way they stick their tongue out when they are charging something.

I often wondered why people raise ducks, besides their being cute as all get-out!
Just reading the above two posts is starting to show me why ducks make great pets!

Well, Buff Hooligans, just wait til we get to number 101, you'll be rushing out to get some ducks! Clearly, you've never seen...

13. They're very curious
14. They talk to you
15. They lay eggs
16. They hatch the cutest babies!
17. The eat ants
18. They think you're going to kill them, but once you catch them, they like being pet

One patient husband... One goofy dog... 11 Turner rollers... 2 Mee rollers... 4 misc. rollers... 6 tipplers... 5 of an unknown breed (rollers or tipplers?)

23. They eat slugs!

Living in the Pacific Northwest we have more than plenty of those slimy things.  Can't wait until I get ducks and they get big enough to free-range the back yard.

24.  The awesome way that the dip their heads in the water with their feather bottoms sticking up in the air!
25.  Their quick and unique way that they flatten out and flap quickly when they (the wild ones, of course) fly together

27.  They are sweet companions when you are gardening.
28.  The way they all chase the cats like they own the place!
29.  Pillow stuffings all over the yard.
