Black, blue are related so to speak. The Marans I got can be either blue, black, or splashes. It is possible the chickies are not really black but a dark blue. But they should still be lavender...wink.png

Yes, it will be interesting to see What hatches over the next few days. It is weird to have them at "school. I can't mess with them like I did last time!

Ya know, when I first saw those black chicks, the first thing I thought was maybe I got TOs marans by mistake. But my eggs were marked with a LO in pencil. Shot that theory right out the window.  tongue.png

Gotta hit the hay folks. Sweet dreams, all!

A wonderful DH who spoils me rotten, 4 cats, 2 doves, 2 rabbits, an old partridge cochin banty roo, a golden Seabright roo, Dominiques, buff, lavender, black, gold-laced & chocolate orps, and some barnyard mixes.

Hi All! Busy day but not much you all would be interested in.

Congrats on all the babies and so glade Crystal is back!!!!

Welcome to New Joe (Mazojoe).

I tried the saddles on a couple of the girls and decided the small one was best for most. However. I decided it needed some modifications.

I cut some more, more to my liking but I feel the need to do something about the elastic. I think it's too stiff and would chafe. I'll have to see what else I can come up with. I would also like to make it a bit more "adjustable".

Well, guess that's about it for now.... seemed like allot of reading and I forgot allot of it old.gifso this is all I got!

Night all!

Good Morning Everyone! Miss a day and now my eyeballs have cramps! Hello Joe what do ya know? Don't cha just love that? th.gifJim loved the way Les pronounced Chi Chi Rodriguez lau.gif I haven't pronounced it the right way since. Everybodys hatchin! ya.gif Cute pics! Bf4 your gonna need that silo and grain drill with all your new livestock! lau.gif You have room? YOU SUCK! Glad you found you hen BBP! Scary situation for sure. FT Larry and LuLu huh? Wasn't it something else just the other day? hide.gif Took a ride to Appleton to see mom yesterday beeped and waved at fm, Bl4, and Bigz. She's doin the best she can. Kristip sorry to hear about your aunt. hugs.gif Dad said my cousin just called and said my last Aunt is in the hospital and doesn't sound good. Very sad! I'm really in a quandry about moving the chicks out to the appt in the coop. Thinking if I enclose the bottom with cardboard and run a heat lamp they would be fine. Getting tired of the dust and changing the bedding every other day. Lil stink butts! Someone neglected to wrap up the power cord to the coop and now it's encased in ice on the down side of the roof. Will have to run an extention cord. Have a PR that's been mopey for the last few days. Have checked her over and can't find anything. Bad mouse maybe. Lots to do today better get with it.

Can't scratch the itch inside of my head, even though there's plenty of room for my hand.
