Dont want him to get this crap for sure! We can count as 4 for 4 on the shoulder thing...mine still goes crazy when I sleep sometimes. I didnt fall though, it is from wrestling a naughty sheep that didnt want to go where I wanted her to go! Yes CC--I am not thrilled at having to catch the skunk but I dont think it will move on while there are eggs to eat! I have no idea how I will move it once I catch it...it really doesnt need to be killed--just moved to another place. That hen is not a breed that I can tell. She is from my partridge laced, black tophat hen(super Mama) that lives in the barn. Her father is probably Phoenix(a Phoenix), but could be Turk (cuckoo turken), Junior (OEGB from H&R) or Cody (Phoenix's son) THey are so well mixed now that it is always an adventure as to what they will turn out to be! I am keeping my fingers crossed for babies! I have two more that are thinking of going broody and I hope they hold out until the 11th! As long as we are being FOOLISH and hatching more eggs I might as well fill the bator and set the broodies for this hatch! WTH--if you are going to feed birds you might as well FEED BIRDS!!!! Yes, I must have a fever and have gone off my rocker.... Wow--I cant believe that worked! Here is a blue laced red wyandotte. I cant go back and see if yours was BLR or RLB I will look for a pick of the other too. THis is a very nice looking bird and I sure wouldnt mind having him...he is in gallery two at Feathersite. If you want to go and look at more here is the link. It has great pics of the hens and chicks too. http://bluelacedred.com/gallery2.html Happy viewing! I guess I better fo and feed critters now--it is getting late. I might have to sit a while and recuperate before I can go to work. The IB must be working now. Later all--enjoy the sun! I see Dan and BigFam  tried the post..  I think there are going to be a lot of  blanks on here today..

IDK where you can get that nice 1/2 x 1/2 mesh..  I bought mine at Menard's.. it is that thinner wire stuff..  but the price still went up..

I have to get out and feed the birds..  Annie turned them all loose earlier....  they have enough leftovers to hold them until I get there..

I have the Granny watch tonight, so I am going to get my bumming done early this afternoon..

I have to get away to prevent cabin fever..

DrH,, I used a heavy, lintless,  sock over a 8" piece of 2x4.  go at the seam as if you are washing the wall,,  get a little mud working with the sock and it filles in all the tiny voids real nice.. It will take down mild ridges, but if you have grand canyon type mountain and valleys, you will have to sand those..

So Terri broke BYC, hey? Naughty girl! What were you trying to do, spread your virus?  lau.gif  But seriously, I wouldn't go to work if I were you, Terri. You'll spread your illness to your clients, and they could potentially wind up giving it back to you. Rest yourself & get better. You will not want to be sick on Tuesday, if we indeed get into the 50s.

I read your post, but the pic wasn't viewable for me.  hu.gif

And you can add DH to the list of bum shoulders. He had his dislocated while playing football and never had a doctor look at it, so now he suffers too.  sad.png

A wonderful DH who spoils me rotten, 4 cats, 2 doves, 2 rabbits, an old partridge cochin banty roo, a golden Seabright roo, Dominiques, buff, lavender, black, gold-laced & chocolate orps, and some barnyard mixes.

Well my mom left a little bit ago. We had a good visit and it was sad to see her go but I'll see her again this summer.  So far so good on the chicks. Since moving the brooder and getting a new thermometer the temps seem to be staying consistant. The chicks are now a week old and all have individual personalities. the Easter Egger is by far everyone's faveorite. She comes up to us when we are near the cage and will climb into our hands. She also is the first to fly up to the pole I put in the cage for them to roost on. It's really cool to see how fast they grow. I need to charge my camera so I can get some more pice :)

After my mom left I went outside to switch over the car seats to the truck so once my oldest was out of school I was going to go get plates and new front tires. Yeah well I accidently put BOTH ignition keys on DH's keys instead of one door and one ignition key. Go figure so I have to drive the van yet again to pick DD up from school. Oh well. I guess I'll do my running around tomorrow. At least that way I'll only have the youngest with me.

Hi!  Wow something funny is going on here . Apyl where is your avatar?   Blank posts. Hmm.

Yeah Jim you are a BYC friend!  Or has that been there a while and I just missed it. Anyway . thumbsup.gif

Another chick popped out overnight.  If they all hatch I am going to be in troublehide.gif for brooder space.

I like that show.

Jim there is a Brnevelder crossed with a Jaerhon that looks a lot like that rooster. Now if I could find that thread that would be a miracle. I will look though.

My Ace and Menards have the cheap/thin new stuff,,,,I have an old partial roll but will need more 1/2X1/2" for these projects...I need to make a FF trip to Antigo soon,,maybe they have it,,,nearest TSC is in Iron Mt,,,unless I go to the VA it's a long trip to a small store,,,,hmmm
