Angi.... Gook luck with your "surprise egg"!

TO... The 3 amigos must be cute in the chick TV! Good luck with your sick bird! If your daughter is keeping 3 horses to your 1 there, she should be taking care of all the hay all the time for all the horses! Yep, the world needs dirty kids! lol

MLH... Babies!!!!love.gif

CC... I E-mailed the guy about the stuff in Waterford... THANKS!!!

Carol... when are CC's chicks hatching so I can get some close to the same age?

mJoe... I've been having my asparagus come up a few here and there, some froze on me. sad.png

bl4... I that "bash soap?" In any case... looks nice and sounds great!

Jim... sounds like ya' may have had the date wrong on those eggs! Glad they hatched for ya'! My memory is great! It's the recall that sucks!old.gifGlad Nora is doing good!

Remember I can get chicks... He has Crevecoeurs, Ameraucanas, and I think the other was Sumatras as well as the Dominiques. If anyone else wants some I can put in an "order" and I could bring them to the bash... It would have to be soon, so he can make sure he has them hatched. I think they're $2.50ea could be less.

Remember that cute, sweet little kitty we got last fall? She's going to be a mom in a couple of weeks! barnie.gifWe tried keeping her in when she was in heat...but she would lay in wait until the dogs went in or out and would run out right between their legs! he.gif

Chicks are getting active and some realize they have little wings! So cute!

1 of the guineas didn't come to roost. I think it may have been the one trying to go broody but kept jumping off the nest when someone came around. idunno.gifEither that or she's with "the boys". I'll look for her tomorrow. Just hope she's within the fenced area.

Well, guess that's it... night all!

Good morning all.  I just popped on for a minute; going to get hay this morning.  Welcome back Tom--glad you got your computer "fixed!"

Cind guineas dont really go broody like chickens do.  They lay about 1,000 eggs in nest and then start to sit. If you find it in time and the babies are hatching you can take the remaining eggs and pop them under a broody hen or bator.  There are probably some that ate only partially developed since they seem to like to continue to lay in then nest while one is brooding! (stupid birds!)

I have to report that I lost my female Yellow Naped  Amazon last night.  It looks like she just fell right off her perch.  Does anyone know of a lab that will do a necropsy?  I would like to know what happened. Buddy is sad and is just hanging on the cage next to wear I set her. sad.png

RIP Coumatu....
