I wasn't sure I'd like them but have found them to be attractive and friendly so far. Hardy robust little birds.

Anyone looking to bring plants can ball the roots in a plastic bag and tie the bag up the stems. That way you don't have to scrounge for pots.
Wow... so many people getting so much done in their gardens!
Twizz.... How old is your dog? Duke had bouts like that his last couple of years. Thought we were going to loose him a couple of times. He had reoccuring ear infections too that would mess him up to where he couldn't walk or even get up. Hope the treatments work for him!
bl4... Hope you can make him comftabale. Too bad about the little duck, hope you get another friend.
Wow... started this post about 9:30... went to do some stuff and was suprised when I came back and saw I didn't post it!
TO... glad the new horse is working out! Sounds like he's not going to have an issue with anything! Although my uncle had one that was great with everything but small bridges, so there still could be some quarks.
I haven't been reading lately
but when I do it's Si-Fi (read allot of Star Trek) or some Fantasy.

Good evening--had to catch up on the "news." I have to tell you about Carol and my ride this afternoon...the new guy (Commander, 11YO TN walker Gelding) was fabulous! We decided to stop at the river and see if they wanted a drink. Well I finally got him stopped when the water was up to his chest and my ankles! I guess He has no problem with water crossings! I thought Carol was going to wet right up there on MY saddle! She was laughing Ho Ho Ho like Santa Claus! THen we crossed a bit of a ditch and he went right thorough! His head sure was on a swivel though...had to keep looking all around. Brodie (my other horse) did very well I thought with Carol. THey needed to have a meeting of the minds in the beginning. It is nice to see another person riding so I can see what he does with his feet when gaiting.
I have a few chicks in my chick TV that are puzzling me. Maybe someone has an idea? There are these two that hatched yesterday that are scratching and scratching like a dog scratching at its ear! THey scratch so hard it makes them fall over on their backs! I looked for bugs...nothing. THe only think I can think of is that there is a bit of albumin left on their feathers, could that be making them itch so frantically? THey look like they want to scratch their eyes out!
OK I need to hit the hay--sweet dreams all! TErri O
Yeah.. me and Brodie had issues.. I am used to having them with my horse... BUT really.. did.. I felt like Yosemite Sam.. When i say whoa.. I say WHOA.. I MEAN WHOA!! LOl
But MY god.. what a great horse she has.. both of hers... Commander (Commando/Hondo) till he learns his new name...
He (I think) was rode on tons of trails.. and may have been a horse for Field Trials
Any way, it was good all around!

H&R the babies are 7 weeks I did the flea and tick and am praying I didn't just make them sick or worse....was afraid to do the seven, but I did move them to a clean pen, no bedding just new sand sprinkled with DE......I hope it works....
Terri Nice looking gelding wish I could get a deal like that..... I always end up paying too much, for horses that need too much work, and I always need more time wish I could buy some of that cheap !!!!!!!!!!!!
BL4 so sorry to hear about kitty, I have been praying he gets better..... having older animals is so hard, I have a 13 year old dog who had cancer 3 years ago, got rid of it and now its back with a vengeance, she will not make it long the medicine isn't working or helping at all this time, very soon I will have to make a horrible decision, and I know already I am not gonna like it 1 little bit, but it's come too her pain and how she gets around, over how much I'm gonna miss her........... Such a horrible thing to do, but sometimes it must be done......
MLH have had this problem most of this spring they have been treated and retreated in 10 day twice now, and there is no way my rooster down stairs in basement could get them, other wise, he is taken care of each morning before I do chores and has had no contact with any birds, and yes they are NFMites.... we also 3 times now including today completely emptied the stall vacumed, scrubbed, bleached, sprayed the walls with bleach and Flea and tick shampoo, changed the bedding, you name it everything I read I did........ to no avail, we will see if they come back now, no more bedding........... so in 3 weeks I'll let ya all know.....
Cute forward Angie......LMAO
Raimnel It was me home aid BBQ/ sloppy joes, hope everyone can eat grass fed beef, tomatoes seasoning, onions, green peppers Ketchup, brown sugar..

Good Morning .
I went out this morning and let everyone out and while I was talking to DD on the porch the ducks were quacking away (wich is typical) but then we hear one of the weirdest crows lmao. Whoever did it sounded just like a lamb baaaaaing lol. DD and I both looked at each other like what the heck. As soon as I opened the coop door it stopped :( So now I dont know who did it lol.
