Hotter then H3LL up here today !! Please start dancing for some cold weather would ya people !!!

DH is working today. The boss has him and the bosses son cutting trees etc on his acrearage to put in a food plot.

Hopefully it will keep him busy until business at the shop picks up.

Me at McDonalds !!!! Yeah Right !!! gig.gifMaybe the icecream shop in Elcho. I know who my best customer would he hey Jim !!!

Hey Unk, when can I come get the pen ? Whatcha doing tomorrow or Friday?

Suppose to be cooler fl.gif

Didn't have a chance to read all of the posts. I've been doing searches for lymphoma and dogs and bunch of stuff.

Better get outside to see if I have any fried animals on the new fence wire !!! LOL

Should deliver eggs and go to the laundry mat but I think I'll go to the Mat when the sun goes down !!! LOL

DH is on his last pair of clean work jeans but I'm afraid I'll jinkz it if I wash them all and they are ready to go !!!

Tried calling the horse lady again today. No answer. Maybe if I don't call at all they will start calling me........ and begging me.... Yeah right.

I will go check on the horse in a day or so. I'm afraid if in order to have the authorities do anything they are going to have to see the horse in the worst condition or they will leave and never go back. Sad to say but it might have to get worse again before it gets resolved.

Still brainstorming on a plan.

Anyone with plans, hit my email and email me. Don't want to deal with moderators. Legal plans......not trying to do anything illegal here. I don't want to live on bread and water and lobster !!!

Hey Frenchie--you would be surprised how getting a younger dog makes the older one have a new lease on life!  That is what we did when our springer got older.  She almost turned into a puppy again!  It was nice to see.

Skunk Whisperer!  Great! Thanks Dan!  I didnt catch anything last night on the bread....maybe all critters have moved away? lau.gif That would be fantastic....

I closed up the house and I think it is 1 degree cooler in here than outside.  I  have to go and see if I can find yet another fan to help circulate the air though...I hate a stuffy house!  Just got my electric bill +$60 from last month!  They say they read it every month now but it always goes from 150 to 210 and then back...I dont get it at all!

Made Gazpacho for dinner.  It is chilling.  MXM had to come for eggs for their vacation so she was a sweety and stopped at the store on  the way for a green pepper for me! hugs.gif It was nice to see her and Cloe again for sure...we did the farm tour one more time....Cloe picked eggs but was kind of intimidated by my chickens.  She really liked feeding the sloppy ones back to them though!

I think I am going to go and soak in a cool tub.  Oh yeah, on FB this morning my SIL had a pic of her daughter and a friend in the "poor folks of GA" swimming pool.   They took 4 rubbermaid tubs and lined them up, filled them with water and were sitting in them!  It was so cute!  I am glad at least some kids get out and play in the water in summer!

Later all!  Terri O

Lost my post!! And feels like years since Ive been on BYC (ok a week lol) Finally caught up.

I hope everyone and their chooks survived the rain/heat!!!

On the way to work, twisted my ankle in the coop/barn and am now in a boot/crutches....spraina nd torn ligaments. Sux as my girls are scared of it...and my hen raised chicks that have become so friendly....wont end up that way now. At least I have my 7 brooder chicks to give me my fix.

Back to work tmrw.....which should be interesting. Usually bring my laptop back n forth to work...that will have to change. Plus I have been working two positions on opposite sides of campus. So will be intersting to say the least.

Just call me Miss Crabbypants!!!

ok, so, I went out to shoo the girls back into their run before the weather got here and the stinkers had their necks crammed thru my herb garden fence like a bunch of Giraffes munching on my collard greens!pop.gif Well, ok, I did plant extras to give to them so not so bad.

HELP!!!ep.gif Once again I need assistance from all you knowledgeable chicken folks hide.gif This is not so good.  I saw one of my girls move over and take a big bite out of a Rhubarb leaf! ep.gif  Anyone know how much can they consume before it becomes lethal????  It was only 2 nice bites but I'm still worried!!!!   I really thought they were out of reach. They are all safely back in their run now and first thing in the morning I am going to double the fence on that side so there will be no chance they can get at it again.  This is the same hen I think is the one that has stopped laying.  Don't know why.  She's not showing any signs of being egg bound or anything else and appears otherwise healthy and happy (hope she stays that way after eating rhubarb leaf )
