My Boss liked his ice cream so much he left it at work! Thanks a lot bossman...... he was really excited about eating it though so I know he really did forget about it when he left. Everyone at work could not believe I actually MADE ice cream.... like it is so hard to do..... 

 

So I came home to my freshly washed blankets covered in cat barf..... thanks a lot...  so now I have to wait until my blankets dry before I go do bed.

 

So where near Mauston were the minis and the Emu's??? ;)

Ugh.... what a day. Still trying to figure out what is killing my ducks. Domestic ducks can get WN, but my ducks did not have the symptoms for WN so that is scratched off the list of maybes. Poison is quickly becoming an strong candidate, but what toxin???? And where did they get it????

good eve,  bro came out and we took the tree down..  had a large widowmaker hanging, was going to cut it loose, but decided that it would be safer to just cut the whole tree down..   tomorrow a couple of nephews are saying that they will come and clean up the branches..  I told them to bring all the bodies they could come up with..  my bum shoulder is hurtin' for certain tonight..

 

the insurance adjuster did not call yet..

 

Have about 40 guineas hatched and a few more pipped..  2 goose eggs pipped also..  the peacock eggs are way overdue and will be tossed..  hope the peahen on the nest will hatch a few..

Not much here today!

 

Since it was cooler today, the water from last nights watering did not evaporate out of the soil. Oh, by the way, when I was out weeding tonight, I noticed that the corn is coming up finally.

 

I harvested my first round of black raspberries and we had them over angel food cake with strawberries and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

 

DH watered the lawn today, we are still in need of rain here badly.

 

Day off tomorrow and I'm sleepin' in!

Well, we got rain this morning..... 1/100 of an inch!!! I can sneeze more than that!With this lack of rain doesn't look like we'll get many berries this year. The cooler/dryer weather sure was nice though.

 

Ok, head is getting foggy and I still have stuff to do.... night!

My life has been a night mare the last week, the Witch, the kids, court, then the storms, and tree's down here, clean up, arggggggggggg I swear I haven't been able to catch a break until now and I should be sleeping........... it's 2:37 am.................
FF I wish I could figure out something to do, but I would call the Sheriff..........these ppl sound totally insane and at least if the Coppers are invoolved, and crazy witch tried anything, it's all on paper............ Good grief..... got so much to write, but no time to do so, will catch everyone up when I'm actually awake, Just wanted to say howdy and I'm still alive and surprisingly not in jail........... Kim

Yep... still up....let Ruddy out and when I went to let him in it was so nice out I went and stood on the deck.... Ruddy headed back to the house... preceded by the distinct odor of SKUNK!!!

 

Well, he was a good boy and  did what he what he was suppose to do... keep the vermin away! Good boy Ruddy!

Spent 10 hours over at the BFF's sawing and putting together one of those wooden swing set thingy's for his DD. Holy crap it was hot! We only made a few correctable mistakes. Got all the sections done, today we'll haul them into the backyard and put it together. All treated and heavier than **** ! Yesterday was all water today however might involve beer. Have to watch the weather would really like to go to the camper. Gonna be a mad rush if we do. Looked at the garden last night  it sure liked this heat!

Morning all!

Got the critter taken care of and man was it nice and cool outside!! The rabbits were practically doing back flips!! Maybe now that we have a cool down I'll get more then 1 or 2 eggs a day. Either that or someone is an egg eater.  Although I have to say that the Girls have not been eating as much with the heat.

 

 

Jim- Madagascar? LOL! Isn't that an island off the coast of Africa? Or is that one of the water parks in the Dells? I wanted to say it was Marstown..but that was not it! BL4 got it right thought! Mauston!  Mauston...Madagascar....same same.....

 

BL4-The GPS got us lost so we had to call the emu farm and she gave us directions...GPS's are so unapologetic... All I can remember is a lot of back roads...and  then we saw her place! LOL

 

Cind-Oh boor Rudy....all skunk-like....I hear tomato sauce or juice is it? gets that skunk smell out. Maybe he needs to get sauced....
