Hi Everyone, Happy Halloween to you.  I just stopped by the let you know that I have 2 BCM Roos that I need to rehome.  They are about 5 months old and ready to do their thing.  I also have a Silver-Laced Wyandotte gentleman that can go too, if someone is interested.  I am located about an hour north of Eau Claire.  -L

wow  you guys are talkative today.  thanks for all the good wishes

Jim be careful on the roof.

dr. Ha ha  love the feral chicken

Terri O thanks for the idea, Need to see if I can find one.

I am so wiped.  I have 176 students and they all seem to care about missing work now that they realize the quarter ends on Tuesday.    Getting ready for the trick or treaters.  Dogs hate it because they have to stay inside.  So far only one.  It runs 4-7.  I pity the city folk,  3 hours seems way too long.  A friend told me she had 400 kids last year, then ran out of candy  We are lucky if we get 10, but it is nice, I can give them huge treat bags

Stay safe.

good PM,  I did work on the roof..  bu t not the house roof Dave,, the dog coop roof..  I have one side ready for plywood and aluminum wrap..  tomorrow I should get the other side all ready and both sides plywooded..  then I just have to frame a little trim around the door..  I think I will insulate at least the ceiling..  I have some insulation around here somewhere..  I found a roll of 15# felt and a whole 50 foot roll of aluminum wrap..  I put a call into Darwin to bring me my brake..  He borrowed it for a couple of days,,,,,3 years ago....really !!!  time sure flies..

Annie brought me "Chinese" for lunch.. (my request)..  I am going to heat up the leftovers for supper..

No T or T here tonight..  I think we had prolly 10 or so in the last 30 years..  I would have to give them P & J sandwiches..  DD#2 was here today and said that the mini candy bars we have are over two years old..  Shame on me for not eating them up sooner, eh?

WE have not had a trick  or treater in 20 years of living here.  probably because you can not see the house from the road.  It;s just a fire number and a mailbox next to a drive going into some spooky woods.

We played pin the face pieces on the pumpkin to design our jack o lantern this year it was fun.

and I gave my 2 year old a silver marker and an egg to draw on, then put a hole in to let out the white and yolk, then set it on one of those LED pumpkin lights.  We are thinking of thanksgiving designs for eggs now.

Happy Hallowed Eve, all! We don't get many, if any, trick or treaters around here either. Unless they come on an ATV. Otherwise, they take one look at the driveway & must say forget it.  lau.gif  This is the very first year I didn't bother buying any candy either. Can't believe I didn't get inundated.  roll.png

Well, I got caught up reading, but CRS has promptly kicked in. Must be the lack of sleep. DH got home late last night from band practice, I couldn't sleep for crap then had to get up early. Then mom & I spent the day shopping. Think I'm heading to bed now. Sweet dreams, all!

A wonderful DH who spoils me rotten, 4 cats, 2 doves, 2 rabbits, an old partridge cochin banty roo, a golden Seabright roo, Dominiques, buff, lavender, black, gold-laced & chocolate orps, and some barnyard mixes.

Yes MXM I had my swimming this evening after work. For the next 6 weeks on Wed. evenings I will be one tired chika! That lady made me work! It is all good though, I am not as bad of a swimmer as I thought I was. I need to learn how to swim with my face looking down into the water, not trying to see where I am going..... plus learning to breathe without filling your mouth and nose with water (sort of defeats the purpose). I think I am going to be sore tomorrow...... now it would be nice if I could swim laps someplace after I get a handle on this swimming thing........

Dog-wise, I would stay away from any terrier breeds. The size you are talking about are the ones bread to kill small critters..... I have had Fonzie out with the ducks and he is just fine with them, but I would never trust him to be left alone with them.

I see it is after 10.... time to kick out the BF so I can go to bed!

Night all!

Dont you find it odd that people will put more work into choosing their mechanic or house contractor than they will into choosing the person who grows their food?
