I'll keep trying with OK and put some serious tone behind it. I have this kinda scruffy sound that he doesn't like and it gets his attention, I actually forgot about it, but I think it needs to make a return!!!!!
And I'll give you a good smack upside yer ole noggin Mister! LOL We've all been down he road of disagreements and squabbling before and it all pans out for the best, eh?
Moving onto another subject....gardening, eggs, chickens, and the bash. We got that ole tractor tire out of our backyard finally, the septic was fixed last summer and the backyard will be ready for edible planting again this year (I was a bit weary about planting much in the 0-20ft range around the "project site" this past summer, so I just planted greens for my bearded dragon). We are going to do sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes (of course), peppers, cukes, beets, swiss chard, oh and I don't know what else. I'm hoping that my choke cherry tree is in good form this year. Last year, it was recovering from a transplant from the neighbors yard into ours and although it did fruit, I didn't pick them as I didn't want to encourage new growth. We are also hoping for a better maple syrup collection this year. Last year, we had a short window and it occurred while we were in Costa Rica Also, our bing cherry and apricot should be good this year, it is their second year.
Eggs and chickens-beefing up the FF for the hens, to encourage their healthy egg laying . The 2 eggs we got just recently looked really good, now I just need to figure out who is and who is not laying to eliminate my free-loaders. I'll wait until spring comes and the laying is strong, I know I've got some really old ones (most of which have been my reliable layers and broodies), but it is the young'uns that seem to not lay eggs. You know what the Queen of Hearts always says? Brent, if my good broodies get going early, I wonder if you'd be interested/willing to ship some of your fertile eggs?
TerriO-are you going to make the new site for the bash? I'll look into the details on how to make it in the meantime.
Alright all, seeing that I've pulled an FT, I'll end and say good night.
