Lots to comment about,
Any hatchery I ever bought from would replace any chicks that died that close to arrival.
The reason that they are still dying is probably because of the poor start they had.
Find a feed store/mill near you that gets chicks from Sunnyside hatchery. I have done this and have great success with the chicks.
Call Sunnyside and they will tell you the nearest feed store that they deliver to.
the price for chicks is the same as if you ordered them delivered by the USPS .
Sunnyside delivers the chicks with their own truck. way better care for the chicks..
Sunnyside will have started pullets available also. You will have to pre-order them, I think ..
Go to the Weyawega swap if you can make it. there are usually pullets there.
be prepared to pay about $15.oo/each for the started pullets. maybe more $$.
Cindy, I will take a picture of my frying pans. Annie ordered off of a TV ad. there is a little old lady advertising them,, I think she paid $18.95 for one and the second was free..
last year Annie bought one of those diamond studded ones. it works great also, but she paid almost $100.oo for it.
There is also another ad for another pan demonstrated by a man. I can't give you a report about that one, since we didn't get one.
p.s. what hatchery did you buy your chicks from ?
