Well as for a good day..??It is dreary, cold, rainy..but I am getting some headway on my sewing/quilting and swap blocks..so I guess that makes it good..

lots of chicks: speckled sussex,cochins,mille fleurs, BRs,EEsl, Lt.Brahmas, American Bulldogs, one very tolerant hubby

I'll be getting my blocks done and out sometime next week. DS is in the hospital with swine flu, so my routine is stopped for this week.  Hopefully we'll get out of here tomorrow.

Love all the photos of blocks!

Oh Amy, I sure hope he gets feeling better soon.  And don't forget to take care of yourself - getting all run down will not be good for you or the family wink

kat - wife to Tim, mom to 3 kiddos (DS 19, DD 17, & DD 14 - the 4H member), 18 chickens - a mix of mostly Polish & Silver Spangled Hamburgs, with a Crevecour and handful of brown egg layers too - - avid quilter, canner, and homemaker :0)

Swine flu is flying around here as well. Got a neice, great neice, nephew and now maybe my Granddaughter down with it. NOT FUN Keeping all of you in my prayers, sorry you are going thru this Amy

Many of my co-workers with daycare aged kids have been through it already, they say it wasn't as bad as they expected..except the Tamaflu the Doctor ordered and how much that cost, like $50.00 each scrip and the whole family had to take it! I'll be happy when the media quits hyping it up so much!! I think the MRSA staph infection is much worse and of the two, I would rather have the flu myself...
