My mixed up flock of Barred Rocks, Red hens, Brown Leghorns, Speckled Sussex,  EEs, BLRW, Buff Orps, Wellies and Delawares Marans and Ameracaunnas, lone Sebright roo  and a Muscovy quad.

 

In quarantine a quintuplet of barred rocks (hopefully hens)

 

In the brooders:  Pekin ducklings, New Hampshire Reds, Buff Orps, Iowa Blue.

2014: Inaugurating what will become the Tewart flock of pure

English strain  Light Sussex sourced from North American stock.

( a   great nick between Boese and Ross strains They are looking

real good at  6 months on 12/6 ).  Pullets in lay @ 29 weeks

instead of last year's 37 weeks!

Hello all.... frow.gif So Is anyone hatching eggs soom? Just thought I'd ask....

I don't judge others...

yep, have a few eggs due tomorrow and more due next week, fl.gif but then i never really shut the incubator off lol, been hatching all winter, un-usual for me, i usually don't hatch in the fall and winter cause i don't want to keep them in the house all winterlol.png
