AND I made it to Green Dragon Auction! We just got home at 11:30, soooooo much fun!! Who knew all the 'real' money was in rabbits? Just kiddin, but they were bringing in some cash, really surprised me.

My husband just ran into someone from our area yesterday that quit his full time job to raise rabbits for that sale.  Amazing.

haha! Don't worry!!! They'll love being in from out of the cold! :D

Speaking of which...I'm debating on bringing in my broody and her chicks and eggs...just a little chilly out there, and she can only warm so much up. I keep trying to leave her alone, but there is some precious cargo under there! :D

Everyone ready for the SNOW?!

I have my broody with her chicks on my back porch in a dog kennel. I threw a comforter over it to keep her warm. Hoping that will be enough.

I am NOT ready for the snow, but its coming whether I am ready or not :(

Just wondering...do I need to cover my azaleas, rose bush, tulips? Or just let them deal with it?

Newbie from PA here!  I'm right outside of Philly.  I have no chickens yet, starting to do lots of research before I dive in.  I'm planning to get 5-6 hens as egg layers and mainly pets :)  So excited to learn from all of you!

New chicken momma from Dillsburg, PA (South Central PA).  My baby girls just came in on Friday April 20th.  I got 3 Salmon Faverolles, 2 Welsummers and 1 Barred Rock.  Unfortunately, one of the Salmon Faverolles (Grace), didnt make it thru last night.  My daughters and I have been playing with them sooo much and have fallen in complete chicken love.  Even dear hubby who "hates" animals has been caught playing with them!
