hahaha! How bad was the floor? Looks like a cutie! Looks like it's thinking:
"Hey there, how's it goin' lady?! Just thought I'd take a lil walk around and look for some scratch, got any? Huh huh?"

now for the weird stuff. i never had  cannabalistic  chickens before. i had one of my meaties missing. i thought it got picked off free ranging. well i found it under the coop. well i found the bones and  feathers.  them meaties ate that chicken clean. just gross.
i bought a bunch of freedom rangers. i thought the cornish rocks were the ones to give problems. not at all the case. them rangers drop like flies. out of 21 i have lost 4 at 3 weeks old. 3 drowned in the rain and 1 from flip. found the chick feet up this morning. what a pain these birds are. any suggestions for these birds.

Wow Bruce, that's a bummer about your meaties.

One of the BYC breeders is taking some Marans to auction this Sunday, she's pretty far North in PA, the auction is in Unidilla, NY. It's over 4 hrs from me... Wish i could go, I've only got 2 BCMs and they've JUST started laying?

MsLadyHawk: Indeed she did leave me a few 'presents' placed strategically throughout the first floor -so that I wouldn't find them all at once. She also scratched around on top of the puzzle table and undid quite a bit of 1000 piece puzzle. So now you all know, yes, I do puzzles. Turns out, I am my mother.

The Auction in Unidilla is on FATHER'S DAY.  I put the wrong day in my last post!  (hate giving mis information!)  Do you think DH want's a perhaps.... a goat? for Father's day?  <hee hee>

Gardeninmama, great job quitting smoking!  Hard to do. Thanks on the kitchen, incidentally, chicken poo wipes off those floors remarkably easy.
