Hello ALL! :D
Does anyone have any feedback on Bee Keeping? I have what I think are Honey Bees in my Hollow tree. and I really can't have them in there. The BF tried to kill them, then I spoke to someone saying they are honey bees. And I had all ready had it in my mind I wanted to keep bees! Well holy cow must be meant to 'bee" LOL as there they are in my tree... SO I stopped him from his attempt at killing them, I hope, There are not as many right now, but after the Chemical and water treatment they got from the BF, I am not surprised. But I still see some going in and out of the hive location. I am considering getting some equipment together, and trying the Swarm chemicals i see online to move them into a hive that I can maintain. Thoughts?
Also, To keep this post chicken related, Blarneys eggs are due to hatch Monday or Wednesday Next week! Super Egg-cited, My Orp has 3-4 under how now, I tossed the eggs from my 3 girls after candling they were no good. I had Several in the incubator in the house as a back up Just in case she broke some or something... SO, 2 from the house I had to toss, 3 that are showing progress and are now on lock down, I took them off the turner last night, and put them on there sides and they "rolled" into their position, Hoping that is a good sign!! ( so I think I had 11 eggs? 9 from Blarney? 1 Kulled, 2 iffy, 6 Good. 3 from my girls, all Kulled.
Blarney, Looks like I will only have 1 cochin Mili Fluer that is going to hatch out of the 3, and I may have to keep it if it does.. Really hoping it hatches! your girls where soooo pretty! I want one!! LOL And since the BF said he would make me a 2nd coop area! :D
