Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I heard that too. It's "feed yourself night" here. That means the kids had microwave mac & cheese packets & twice baked potatoes from the freezer. I opened a can of chicken & threw in bacon & ranch. My potato is in the microwave now...lol

We ate well here! "Chicken French". (Chicken Francaise) and baked sweet potatoes with butter, cinnamon and sugar. And a lovely salad to start off with! Love Chef John @ www.foodwishes.com. Going to try proscuitto wrapped chicken with dried cherries soon. :drool (Can you tell we don't have kids yet? I have time for this stuff )

Here's our 'baby' checking on 'the patient'. Her Mom was 60lbs, she was 106 at last vet check. 106 pounds of sweetness. LOVE this girl.

Last measure was 10 inches of snow. Wet, heavy, snow. Ugg.
pretty pup!
My girl Kaylee (gsd)

was super pleased with our 10 inches too.

Gotta hate it when that happens, and it sure does seem to be more often than it should!
Same here, absolutely love the cast iron stove!

Definitely beautiful, but very glad we didn't get quite that much here!
this looks like what we are dealing with here in Bedford. And more tomorrow! Yay!!

I usually do cook 3-4 course meals, but the weather & having to walk up the driveway today has my fibromyalgia acting up & I feel like crap. No reason the 10 yr old can't cook for me & her brother on occasion. Even the 7 yr old can use the microwave. Plus, he loves to make his own scrambled eggs. Mom gets a brake once in a while this way...lol

Is anyone else from around Bedford county?

Check the map in my sig...should find some local peeps there...

@Silkie...we'd be having hot dogs or cereal every night if I had my 10 yr old in charge of dinner.

I keep simple stuff on hand for her to heat in the microwave. Her fallback is ramen noodles when all else fails...lol
