find out the hatchery they use and check for npip,,,,I know many people in the program raise meaties, just not sure what they do about that, do you even need to have a npip number since these birds will be processed 8 weeks
that's what I thought but I wasn't sure, and since they are processed so young they do not get tested
Won a hand knitted sweater at our meet up's raffle on friday night! xD Oh how I needed to bribe Betty and Spitfire to try and model it lmao Pardon the picspam/threadtakeover for a moment!
Now I just need to find out as much as I can about chicken diapers and harnesses! lmao
I see you just added the link, MC.
Kiomey, is Betty a blue wyandotte?
I'm having a bit of a dilemma picking the breed that I want in spring. DP said that I could get a hen and my sister could get a hen. We'll hatch them and then keep a pullet from each batch. I wanted a mottled bantam cochin but I'm not sure I want one of those anymore. I have some criteria:
-good egg producer
-docile, but with personality
-able to be shown easily
-comes in blue (I really want a blue chicken)
I was thinking blue marans. What do you guys think?
