Well, today DH and I are tearing down an old shed (floor went bad) to make room for the new one. After we get it torn down I will use the little backhoe to prep the site with a new base pad (made out of railroad ties and gravel) for the new shed. Will be great to have this done and then be able to expand the chicken run to extend from the original coop to the new shed so we can do some fancy fencing and create a couple of breeding pens. Going to be a busy day today though!
have funn!!n& be careful....a backhoe, I am NOT telling the DH that you have one ...he drools everytime we go past those "sell-them" places..".one of these days", he says...

if you look close, you can see all the lilac little ones , they just look like sticks coming out of the ground right now...I stopped counting at 9 ....
That is a dangerous place to have your head...
all are out enjoying some dry feed before bed..all but Hen-Bree(broody)...I saw her out once today to peck around, then right back up to the nest...these chicks can't get here soon enough!
