We had a neighbor that complained to call the police or something like that (can't remember) because the frogs kept him up! Like I have control over wildlife good grief.
I grew up in the country and learned at an early age to sleep through roosters, crickets, barking, etc.so maybe I shouldn't judge, but people who move out to the country to enjoy the country life ought to see these things as reminders of what they left behind, not annoyances. They really will adapt. In college, I learned to sleep through drunken students shouting in the hall outside my room and major traffic 40 ft from my bedroom window, so I think people can adapt to chirping and crowing if they give it a try.
And don't get me started on smells . . .
