I got tons of them, yuck. You can have them all!!!
Update on my broodie and her eggs. Out of the 9 she was sitting on 6 hatched and I seen a pip in the one egg. They were supposed to hatch today, some hatched yesterday. I hope the other 3 will hatch tomorrow. I accidentally killed one chick. I was in a hurry to get back to the school to get my son from football, not knowing how the traffic was going to be. I went to check on the babies and gather any eggs and I heard a baby crying. I couldn't find it. Somehow it managed to get out of the coop and down 2 feet and land into the mud and get stuck! Lucky for me the older hens left it alone.
I took our cat carrier and cleaned it out and put in woodchips and grabbed momma and her babies and the eggs and put them in. Brought them into the house and put a chick waterer in the box with them and left for my son. Came home and made dinner and ate. Decided that we could use the old rabbit hutch we picked up for free to put momma in with her babies to keep them safe and give them more room. I grabbed the cat carrier and brought them out and went to grab everyone and move them and found a chick dead in the waterer. i feel horrible. I added alot of rocks in the water so that shouldn't happen again.
