Where's the bacon?
Soo Cute!
I agree also. I've decided to be proactive and learn some new skills to keep my mind from turning into a potato. I'm starting to repair cell phones and electronics; also going to take up a knitting class. Some of my spring fever has been helped by an orchid reblooming with no care whatsoever! Will post pics when the buds open. Also found an Aerogarden at the thrift shop for $15! It lets you grow some small lettuce and or herbs indoors in a small hydroponics system. I already have thyme, arugula and basil sprouting!yep, it is haard to explain to some people. once spring gets here and i can get out in the dirt all day, I feel totally different, it is not a problem to work from sun up to sun down and not think twice about it. but for about three months every winter, I am a lazy bum.
WOW! Glad the CCL made it out. It looks like a pullet from the pics, is that your take?
First to hatch, my lone CCL. Started with 3 but one was clear, the other quit. Pipped and zipped within about 1 1/2-2 hoursI have 1 Rhodebar zipping now, 2 ameraucanas pipped, and one welsummer pipped. I'm going to be dying tonight when we have to leave for a few hours lol.
@dheltzel , you're a grandpa! Lol
So cute! I'm jealous, I can't wait to get a new incubator, buy some eggs/set some of ours and have new little ones.First to hatch, my lone CCL. Started with 3 but one was clear, the other quit. I'm betting the Ams make it out before the Rhodebar - unless you whisper to her that I'm betting against her, LOL.
Not at bad start for shipped eggs. Give 'em time, that is the hardest part, I still open the incubator way too much when they are hatching. I'm working on a hatcher in a cooler that lets me gently slide the top open a few inches to reach in and pull out the chicks without dumping all the moist air on the floor. Until then, I must learn patience too.
