we have a 5 gallon bucket filed and plan to do another one. I only did 5 pints of jelly since I ran out of pectin. I have to get more tomorrow. No way I'm going out in the freezing rain. I'm terrified for my husband's drive home tonight after work! I have 12 dehydrator trays filled and I just say down for a break. I'm only on my 5th case lol. Time to start freezing some. My goal is to get 10 cases done tonight. I'll reload the dehydrator tomorrow and maybe start more wine :)

yes they did. They brought out a whole pallet full to load our car and the car after us but there were A LOT of people getting them. I know we took 20, the guy after us took 25, and the people before us took 10. I'm going to stop by tomorrow and get more since I'll be down there again.

what do you do with all them your not eating rite away? Won't they go bad?

Can you just freeze the entire strawberry? Just toss the case in the freezer and process the stems and such out later? I just put the new freezer in and all it has is a bit of pork and about 100lbs of chicken, so there's LOTS of room there for me to be lazy, lol. I buy the dutch gel from the amish/mennonite stores. MUCH cheaper. I think it's like 1/10th the price of the boxed pectin.

and my strange hubby just told me to set it up in the living room...his reasoning is, If I am gonna run the electric bill with a heat lamp, why not put it in a room that we are using.....

My Welsh Harlequin stayed in their pool until they were about six weeks old, they jumped out was because they got on their feeder and jumped out from there. Then they couldn't figure out how to get back in.

I have a 250 gallon stock tank you may borrow if that helps.
