Regular old VapoRub (the human kind) also works for respiratory issues. Just smear a dab under each wing. When they tuck their head under while roosting it clears their sinuses & lungs. Eucalyptus oil would also work. Just a couple drops under each wing each evening before roosting.
..i like trying the non-invasive treatments first too.(vapo-rub/Vet RX..etc..)..non-invasive as in.., not-on the more natural side, but sometimes you just have to use what you need to to get them back to good.

I wanted to go at it full stream since only 2 (both boys) are showing any symptoms and I don't want it to spread at all. I did use some eucalyptus oil in the coop yesterday when I cleaned it out. Not alot but enough to smell it a little. I might just add a drop or two on the poop boards in the evening tonight.
i have one girl in particular, when the weather changes..usually from warm to cold very quickly..she gets a bit stressed and gets kinda a sneeze thing going..it is usually cleared up in 2 days just with the Vet RX and some extra vit/min electrolyte in their water...
If it doesn't go "away" in 2 dys..then she gets 3 days of the once a day dose of Tylan...she has always cleared up fully after that...seems every October ,fall into winter this happens...the weather can be very strange at that time anyway.
you do not need to inject..can make them a little sore if having to do this ti them multiple times...i have put it into pieces of bread and had them eat it or..to make sure they get all of the dose..I usually just give it to them from the plunger of the syringe..by taking off the needle once i have the vial full...one quick squirt down the throat and they are done. I try not to use the needle when I can, ...but hey..if you are comfortable ..then by all means....i am shutting up now..hahaha
