I would say that the fluid was ascites, probably an infected umbilical cord that finally overtook her system. I am on my phone so I can't confirm but Google 'ascites' and see if it doesn't show up with infections also...I know it does show up with congestive heart failure and liver diseases...Edited by fisherlady - 10/10/15 at 2:19pm
