Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Also, here is my stunning Bielefelder. I'm hoping to breed him next year. Pictures don't do him justice, his colors are so vivid and he is so big!

Doesn't this look like it should be a band? I think we'll call them Bourbon and the Whites. Haha! Sorry guys, I have to rest my back, so I now have time on my hands...

Here are the two new broody Mamas. They are doing very well and co brooding. This is the Silkies first time, I think she's about 8 years old! She has a little blu Kotex stain from a booboo months ago. :)

In the 90s we had *boy bands*...now that we are grown up we have *bird bands*! :clap

Love the co-broodies...nothing more relaxing than watching a group of chicks scurrying around with good mamas watching out for them :love

@fisherlady I'm sure you can relate to this. The broodies couldn't get the chicks in the coop as it got dark and neither would leave them. So they just sat on each other! :lau

I did dream I had one of Dennis's turkeys two nights ago! (And a big fat red English Orpington!)

He can help you with that dream! Go ahead. They're so fun!

OMG, that is too cute! I give them credit for staying with them, some hens would head in with the ones who would follow and leave the others behind. Glad they have you to help them out :thumbsup

@AnneInTheBurbs LOVE the broody pic lol

I was taking some pictures again today...I'll apologize now for taking up an entire page.

@MotorcycleChick this is a terrible picture since I had the wrong lens on the camera but here is Sabrina in the turkey pen. She's slowly making friends and doesn't get picked on anymore.

Simon Serama and one of his seabright ladies. Even they are big compared to him! He'll be thrilled when he gets to meet little Sarah Serama, his future wife :) She's still small and in the brooder.

We now return to your regularly scheduled program...

@Auroradream26 and @AnneInTheBurbs
I spoke with the original breeder of the SPRs and have tentative plans to get a new rooster from him next month since ours wasn't doing his job, this should get my eggs back into hatching order and I will be sending them your way to test hatch for me. This will keep the same bloodlines but remove the close genetics so will be a good switch over.
