I'm new...and in Sac too. But I love it here.
I'm from way Northern Cali, so I like being more Urban than how I grew up, but I'm really excited to get back to my country girl roots and get my chickens!

Hi and
I am very happy that Sacramento allows chickens now. I live in Woodland but was Born and lived in the Red Bluff and Corning area until 1992. I went to Shasta College and then Chico State.
When you have ten posts you can upload some photos of your chickens.

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I had a surprise yesterday. A friend is incubating some Delaware eggs for me. They were shipped all the way from Bill Braden in OK. I've bought shipped eggs before and only had 1 hatch out of 2 dozen, so I was not expecting much from these shipped eggs.
My friend emailed me yesterday morning, to tell me that the eggs were starting to hatch. As of last night, there were 8!

Making my rounds through all the California threads.
Doing updates on lists on the first page of the California Whole State thread.
If anyone wants their breeder information added to the first post, go to the thread and post your information and list of what you have. Look at the first page and see how I list it and then post accordingly.
