Hey Cyn, Doing good here, had to take Mom for a chemo treatment yesterday, but, her white blood cell count was to low so it is put off until next Tuesday. Which works well for us seeing as how we are supposed to get a round of snow Friday, The weatherman said we may actually see some sunshine today, What's that

, no eggs yet today hopeful they will be there when my daughter picks up my mail, will let you know. Thanks for checking up on us.

Lots of snow coming in by Sat. Pray those without power get it back on quickly before the snow hits. Okie posted some photos showing lots of damage there.
Cyn, I had one ee fly out through all that yarn this morning and so far have not been able to catch her. She may end up being lost to a hawk unless she has an angel watching over her. Cd's are turning great!
Hope everyone is ok in Oklahoma and Kansas by now???

she will eat out of my hand but won't let me catch her, darn I wish I had a net!! May have to wait until she wants to roost in the garage tonight and catch her then?

Those EEs and Ameraucanas sure can fly almost as well as the guineas. My guineas had no problem flying out, but I wanted them to. My main flock can't fly out ,not matter if the pen is covered or not, but my Ameraucanas are in a covered pen for that very reason-they can get some pretty good altitude!

now you tell me

I went outside a few minutes ago with a sheet to try and catch her...no luck. LOL I will wait till she goes to roost and catch her.
But.............my one dominique came running to me when I went outside!! My Lucy (only real tame one I have)flew out too!! I picked her up and scolded her and put her back in the coop! Hope she stays there as I would hate to lose her.

Carrie, how tall is your fence? Mine is over 5 ft at its lowest point. The crisscross string sure wouldn't keep a talented flyer inside; I'm just hoping it will continue to keep those really talented flyers (hawks) outside!

sorry, was having lunch, fence is five feet at the highest point. None of the others have made an attempt to fly out with the cd's dangling now.
