My Great Pyranesse and "her girls"

Nice pooch! I have a neighbor that has 3 of them! I see him walking them and I can't help but think that they must eat tons of dog food. He also carries a LARGE plastic bag for the you know whats that are left behind.

Great picture! Thanks for sharing. Isn't it great when all your animals get along. My husky/lab mix loves the chickens. He hangs out with them when they are free ranging. Well........he actually just wants a taste of their food. he loves chicken feed.

Your coop looks huge.

Her name is Suki, we adopted her from a rescue organization, she makes our St.Bern/Newfie cross look small, they are great friends.

My coop is a shed that was on this property when we bought it, it is pretty big I have it seperated by chicken wire in 2 area's,but now that my Jersy Giants are about 12 weeks we are thinking about taking it down so they can all live together.

Pretty dog!

Lunachick: No, not so much compared to, say, a Saint Bernard or Great Dane. They have slow metabolisms under all that fur.

bayouchica: Yep, they love the cold. Especially snow. My Pyr can put up with hours and hours of freezing weather, and when I try to bring him in, he gets annoyed because he wants to eat more icicles.

Great Dog, if I must say so... We have a great pyranesse too.. His name is Bear, which looks like one.. And a "big" baby..

He was adopted from the shelter here... We couldn't have asked for better dog.. He's 18 yrs old (an shows his age) now. He still allows Billy Jack (our cat) sleep on him at night...

You have a wonderful loyal Dog...

I told my DH I want to get a couple of those, so they can keep each other company and take turns rounding up the kids (ok I only have two kids - but still)
