how long does it take to hatch chicken eggs?

First time incubating and I don't have a clue how long it takes to hatch.  I was given 18 easter eggs wee and stold 2 from my white leghorns moms and baredrock dad.  So do eggs usually take about the same time or do some breeds take longer? hu thanks for any help

Chicken eggs take approximately 21 days. This can vary due to environmental conditions such as temperature and embryo development.

Spring has sprung here in the south. Lots of new chicks running all around.  Check out our website for great prices on poultry and livestock products as well as lots of helpful information. Cheep-est prices around and always growing. NPIP #58-1589-E

21 days!  They could start pipping on day 20 but usually right on schedule 21 days and can last to day 23....from my experience!  wink
