Thanks, Sunny!
I had a sleep number bed before - and I hated it! Their ad says it works for 93% of people's back pain - I guess I'm in the 7% 'cause it didn't help at all. And, it was very expensive! This foam bed I got from Costco for $500! I haven't noticed it being too warm, but it is supposed to "breathe". It is 12 inches thick and has 3 layers. The brand is NovaForm and it's even made in USA. It was $100.00 cheaper than shown on the link in-store.
I've heard often that memory foam is too warm. Our house isn't air-conditioned, and my husband is a human furnace. If I put more than 1 blanket on the bed during the summer, he sleeps in another room. So far, back problems aren't in our list.
